Reece Tucker
1.)After highschool I plan to go to college. I want to go to the University of Colorado or the University of Kentucky.
2.) I plan to go to college with a soccers scholarship so that I can save money and continue to do what I love doing.
3.) Soccer has given me a purpose in life and makes me feel amazing. All of my teammates always support me and help me out whenever i need it and it feels right whenever I am playing.
4.)The school team is different than my club because in high school it is a much faster paced game and I have no space and am pressured instantly whenever I receive the ball
5.)I would want to be sponsored by adidas because they have a variety of clothing ranging from athletic clothes to dress attire. It is the most comfortable and also what I use for my soccer equipment.

Nathan Hume

1)After high school I plan to go to college in Michigan because that is where all my family lives and the weather is nicer there.

2) I plan to go to college with a soccer scholarship because I want to pursue my career in soccer and want to continue playing. I also want to go with a scholarship because it would help me save money to spend on other things I need.

3) Soccer has allowed me to meet more a bunch of my friends and has created many close bonds I wouldn’t have without it.

4) The school team is very different from club because of the pace of the game. In club the games are way slower, and you have more time to think about what is going on in the game

5) If I could be sponsored by any brand I would choose adidas because it is the most comfortable.

Daniele La Rosa

1) After high school I want to play soccer in college for a D1 school.

2) I plan to go to college out of state for the best experience and to also meet new people and experience new things

3) Soccer has allowed me to meet new people and keeps me in line because it helps me relieve stress whenever I am having a tough time

4) The school team is similar to club because of the players and the pace of the game is continuous

5) I would want to be sponsored by Nike because they feel better on my feet and the clothing and kits feel way better than adidas

Flat Plan

Other sections within the magazine will engage the audience by talking about other sports people may enjoy. This can be sports such as golf, lacrosse, swimming, track, cross country, and so forth. We will also inform readers on information about the JV team and how they are doing rather than only varsity teams. The ads in this magazine are placed between articles instead of all together so the reader will see them while flipping between pages instead all at the end or all in the middle of the magazine. Having the ads all put together can cause readers to stop reading because they are not interested in the ads and only are interested in the articles.

Schedule Interviews and Develop Questions

In the interview i am going to interview Nathan, Reese, and Daniele on the Sarasota High soccer team. The interviews will happen whenever the players are not busy and will happen on game days prior to the game. This is because on those days their feelings can change because of how prepared they are for the game.

Schedule Photo Shoot

In this project i will be photographing a couple of the Varsity soccer players named Reese, Daniele, and Nathan. The scheduling will be on game days and at the games. Games are usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays and happen away and home. On 12/13/2019 against Manatee. During this game there will be many opportunities to take pictures of the players during the game because they will be close to the sideline making the pictures easier to take.

Scouting Locations

Some of the locations I am planing to take pictures at are at places such as fields and at school. These locations are the best for taking pictures because at school it has popular things to identify that it is Sarasota High school. Some examples of this would be things such as the anchor by the auditorium, the weight room with all the sailor logos, and the front of the school with all the steps. The fields would also be a good place to take pictures because it makes it look more lively and allows for more action and realistic shots. They can also be taken during a game to give a more realistic atmosphere.

Table of Contents

In the table of contents we are listing the the articles and pages because the articles in the magazine are all sports related. The magazine will have at lest 3 ads between every article. We will be using at least 4 photos for each article because if the amount of photos is to little then many readers will not want to read it and if there are to many pictures there will be no room for information. The font we will be using is posterama because the font is very modern and draws a lot of attention to it.

Cover Template

The font we will be using for this project is Posterama. The title we came up with was SPORTS UNITED. We came up with this title  because of the content inside the magazine. The magazine will consist of different sports and high school athletes. We chose the title SPORTS UNITED because we will have multiple sports within the magazine uniting them all together.

Magazine Project Research- World soccer

The cover of this magazine contains a picture of Arturo Vidal and has large text all around him. The background of the magazine is all white and allows the text to stand out from everything else. The content inside the magazine is all soccer related and has very current news. The page layout is very organized and the text surrounds all the pictures. The ads in this magazine are very minimal and are not large on the pages. The distribution number of the magazine is 500000 magazines.

Magazine Research- OHS soccer team

This is a high school soccer sports magazine. It is local to their region and the cover of the magazine is some of the players on their team. The bottom of the cover is the name of their school and the background of the players in very dark to help the players stand out more in the picture. The ads within the magazine are placed at the end and are supporters of the school. The layout of the pages are all square borders with pictures of the players inside. The pages also all consist of the players and which team they play for. The distribution number is not said but it is a local magazine made for their school.

Magazine Project Research- soccer 360

The cover of the magazine contains a midshot of Lionel Messi in his Argentina uniform as number 10. The cover is very packed with news and information and the title of the news magazine is placed behind his head. They also have players in little borders in the bottom of the page showing the different players and discussing their games. They also have text on the side saying the name of some of the articles in the magazine they have in the magazine. Most of the articles in the magazine are about the world cup and women's world cup. The ads are not on every page and are mainly have their own pages dedicated to them. On some pages they have the ads on the side of the article and on the bottom. The distribution number of this magazine is not said but it is a very popular magazine in England.

Magazine Project Genre Research- Sports magazine 476

The cover layout is a picture of an ex-professional soccer player for the Netherlands national team and has been managing the club since 2018. The title is Dutch Master and the color scheme is very dull and basic. They use a different type of font and space out every letter of the title. The articles in the magazine mainly consist of news about other athletes and have whole pages dedicated to ads. The advertisements appear on just about every other page but occasionally are on the bottom of articles. The distribution number of this magazine is 23000000 people each week.

Magazine Project Genre Research- Eight by Eight

The lay out of the cover is very organized and is a picture of Alex Morgan with a white background. The text is all black for her name but has a blue to red gradient for the logo of the magazine. The text for her name is vertical down the right side of the magazine and has colorful text to catch the attention of the readers. The articles inside the magazine are female soccer players and where they are from and information about them. On the cover it is a picture of Alex Morgan in her USA jersey and on the table of contents it tells what page each article is on and is formatted in a different way. The table of contents has large words with text in front of it telling what the article is about. The Articles in the magazine all have stuff to do with female soccer players and all of the teams during the world cup. The distribution is completely sold out on their website and do not have a said distribution number.
